Fair funding for schools will save residents money

I have written these letters to the editor in favor of fair funding for schools, where I have asked our local state representatives to put pressure on their colleagues for this and to also overturn the law that allows the Scranton School District to charge twice the wage tax rate that most other school districts charge. IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN ALL SCRANTON RESIDENTS TAKE HOME PAY WOULD INCREASE.  I believe that a vote for me would send a message to the Scranton School District and our local state representatives, to push for fair funding and that when it is achieved, for the school district to cut in half the rate they charge so that the Scranton School District wage tax rate will be equal with most other school districts. Scranton taxpayers have been shortchanged and overcharged long enough. I believe as the Scranton Tax Collector I will be in a better position to push for this.

Thanks again!

My Message to Scrantonians

I am asking Scranton voters to imagine that they are owners of a business and that myself and my opponents are applying for a job, (which in reality is what we are doing), and to vote for/ hire the person that is most qualified and experienced.
